THE KIDZ KLUB IN HATBORO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES ITS FIRST AREA EVENT
April 1, 2008, HATBORO, PA. This past Saturday, The Kidz Klub, a new interactive kids toy and game store in Hatboro, successfully held its first event: a ‘viewing party’ where dozens of neighborhood kids gathered and packed out the store to watch the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
Voting for the awards began on March 8th with kids stopping by The Kidz Klub daily to fill out ballots which were, then, submitted to the Nick.com website. Those in attendance for the actual awards viewing party had a chance to see if their nominees won. Commercial breaks were filled with interactive, fun, trivia games. Many of the kids who participated received prizes and giveaways courtesy of The Kidz Klub. The two grand prizes, a movie Gift Certificate and pairs of Complimentary Movie Passes, were supplied courtesy of Regal Cinemas Warrington Crossing in Warrington, PA for the kids who chose the most ‘winners’.
“From the youngest to the oldest, everyone had a good time,” exclaimed Linda Pappas, Promotions Director for Regal Warrington Crossing. “It was very family-oriented...I would like to see more of it.”
The Kidz Klub will be working alongside Regal Cinemas Warrington Crossing to promote the upcoming release, “Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.” The Kidz Klub will also have a ‘Klub Houze’ table at the Warrington Crossing theatre on Saturday, May 17th as part of Regal Cinema’s “Project Picture.” This event will be a day of family fun, featuring games and prizes, a large balloon sculpture, interactive events, and special guest appearances. The Kidz Klub will open its doors for sales at the end of April, 2008. In the meantime, the store remains open to give the community an opportunity to meet the managers and learn about their heart towards the community.
