MAIN STREET HATBORO in conjunction with the Borough of Hatboro has great plans for 2008-2009 for revitalizing the downtown business district of Hatboro. One of the center points of our multi pronged revitalization strategy is the 2008-2009 MAIN STREET HATBORO FACADE PROGRAM. We hope all business and property owners will join in and improve the downtown environment of Hatboro.

Third Annual Hatboro Area YMCA and Main Street Hatboro Skeleton Skurry 5K Run and 2 mile Walk. Costumes encouraged (prizes will be awarded), free supervised children's activities, run t-shirt (first 400 entrants), refreshments, free raffle, goodie bag. Family Fun. Proceeds benefit Hatboro Area YMCA Financial Assistance Program and Hatboro Main Street.

HATBORO SUMMER FUN FESTIVAL

There was something for everyone May 26-31, 2008 when Hatboro hosted its third annual "Fun Festival," featuring fireworks, carnival rides and games, nightly entertainment, a Battle of the Bands, local cuisine, a petting zoo - and a search for the "Hatboro Idol."

Welcome Mike Hartey!

Welcome new Assistant Borough Manager of Planning and Development Mike Hartey. He started on 2/25/08 and his office is located in Hatboro Borough Hall. His duties will include working with Main Street Hatboro and Elm Street Hatboro. Mike comes to us from Rockledge Borough were he was the Borough Manager. He brings extensive experience in all phases of grant research, writing, presentation, and implementation. We look forward to working with Mike on the revitalization projects to make our town a great place to live, work and shop!

THE CARVING BOARD opens in Hatboro!

Scheduled to open Tuesday April 8th an, The CARVING BOARD is looking forward to opening in Hatboro. Owned and operated by Joe and Tina Joyce. Joe Joyce said, "We truly have a unique product with hand sliced breads and homemade dishes.  We feature hand carved turkey, homemade roastbeef, pork, baked ham and also a first cut of pastrami and cornbeef.

THE KIDZ KLUB IN HATBORO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES ITS FIRST AREA EVENT

April 1, 2008, HATBORO, PA. This past Saturday, The Kidz Klub, a new interactive kids toy and game store in Hatboro, successfully held its first event: a ‘viewing party’ where dozens of neighborhood kids gathered and packed out the store to watch the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
